I am the Director of Subscription Products at Business Insider, living in New York.
Previously, I worked in corporate strategy and business development for Allbritton Communications Company, the parent company of Politico and other media properties. Prior to that, I was an investment banking analyst at Macquarie Capital. I have experience in new product launches, strategic planning, business development, new business investment and financial analysis.
I work/have worked with early stage and established media properties, within both the traditional and digital media industries. And if there’s one thing I’ve learned for certain, it’s that very little is certain about the business of media these days. My work is an effort to help navigate through this uncertainty. I thoroughly enjoy being on the front lines in the battle to monetize digital content and helping figure out how media companies can create a profitable and sustainable future for themselves.
This site/blog is (mostly) part of the same effort. Of course, I do reserve the right to opine on other topics as well. I expect to update the site frequently. I hope you enjoy it.
